We have enjoyed exploring the topic ‘Colour’ through play based learning over the past few weeks. We brought in items from home for the colour of the week, explored colour patterns and different methods of printing using the focus colour each week. We carried out a colour investigation using skittles and water to see if the colours would mix or remain separate. We carried out our own colour mixing experiment using the primary colours and went on a ‘colour walk’ outside to collect as many different colours as we could to stick on our sticky strips.
