We have been learning about lines and angles. We have been practising applying this knowledge to navigation using a four and eight point compass. The children have been trying to get to grips with recognising a right angle turn as 90 degrees, a straight line as two right angle turns 180 degrees, a three quarter turn as 270 degrees and a full rotation as 360 degrees. They have also been trying to comprehend the terms clockwise and anti- clockwise.
